About this module:
Academic writing is one of the most important skills at university. This

• understand the difference between academic writing and
non-academic writing
• consider the major steps in the writing process
• discover the importance of analyzing the essay question
• develop your ability to brainstorm and create an argument
• use that argument to create topic sentences and outline a piece of
academic writing
• practice proofreading and editing.
